“We are endlessly grateful to Kim M Grant and Scott Kramer. When our friend suffered a massive stroke in Mazatlán at the end of November 2025, they stepped in to help me get her out of Hospital General de Mazatlán. We had been waiting for the hospital to give her a simple gastric tube surgery for a month and she was not getting any better. She finally got the surgery on Christmas Eve.
My friend doesn’t have private health insurance and we started a GoFundMe. We are immensely thankful for the generous donations we receive, in order to continue our friends ongoing medical care.
We were able to hire Kim and Scott, who each have their own unique businesses. Kim is truly a Nurse Concierge in every sense of the word! From the very first moment we met, I felt an immediate sense of trust. With oodles of nursing experience in different countries, she brings a plethora of experience, deep medical knowledge but extraordinary compassion. She has been a steady, caring presence—checking in regularly, advocating, communicating with her care team and making sure our friend is being seen and cared for.
Scott has built an incredible healthcare coordination business with connections that made what felt impossible, suddenly possible! He is easy to talk to and responds promptly. He has arranged emergency and regular doctor visits, orchestrated ambulances, physical therapy five days a week, but most importantly, Scott helped my friend get out of a public hospital and into a safe, consistent, therapeutic environment. This has given me and all of the people who love our friend, the hope we needed.
They have helped us navigate the complicated Mexican medical system, during one of the most frightening and overwhelming times in our lives. Having Kim and Scott by our side is a gift I will never forget. Their kindness, advocacy and dedication has carried us through an unimaginably hard time. Because of them our friend is receiving proper medical support and has a chance at recovery. I cannot recommend them highly enough! ” – Sara H.
